Trinity Church is an Anglican church. An Anglican church is a church that is a part of a worldwide body of Christians. Anglican churches are the third largest Christian communion in the world, after the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church.
The Anglican Church is a liturgical church meaning that services have structure and form. This structure is rooted in our Ancient Christian worship communities and can be traced back even to the earliest forms of Jewish worship. Many of the specific prayers and phrases said date back to just a few generations after Christ.
The Anglican Church is catholic because we believe and practice the universal or catholic faith of the Church.
Anglicanism is a Western Christian tradition which traces its identity to the Church of England following the English Reformation of the 16th century.
